"To determine the hotel’s qualification for the CBTD, energy modeling using the installed REHAU-Polytec 50 hybrid curtain wall window system was conducted, and showed a resulting regulated utility cost reduction of 12.4 percent," said Justin Aruck, project manager at EMO Energy Solutions, the engineering firm that conducted the project’s energy modeling. "Overall, the REHAU-Polytec 50 hybrid curtain wall system provides a modeled energy cost savings of nearly $10,000 per year," said Aruck. (read more)
